B Corps™ (Corporations) are purpose-driven businesses who have been certified by non-profit organisation B Lab™, meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. they do business in ways that are not only good for their shareholders, but good for their employees, customers, communities, suppliers and the environment.
doing everything from the heart is ingrained in our DNA and has been since we took root in 2005. we wanted to be part of a growing network set up to balance purpose and profit, helping to create a better world while thriving as a business.
while we aren’t perfect, we’re constantly looking at ways that we can do better.
it was a meticulous process to become certified, and rightfully so! a company has to meet a set of rigorous criteria across five key pillars (governance, workers, community, the environment and customers) to ensure that it truly is doing its best for its people and the planet.
B Corps are required to recertify every three years to meet B Lab™'s standards (which are also improving). this helps companies hold themselves accountable, as well as benchmark their progress to ensure that they are always doing their very best.
we are proud to have met the impact score of 82.1 which measures our actions as well as highlights our strengths and areas we can improve.
