do you have height-adjustable desks?

getting the height right matters more than it might seem, especially across a long working day. we offer a height-adjustable option in sustainably souced solid oak, extending to a maximum of 130cm to suit both seated and standing positions. pair it with one of our beautifully crafted dining chairs (which are also suitable for the home office) to create a naturally stunning workspace.

do you offer desks suitable for compact spaces?

among our extensive selection of desks are options with compact proportions and configurations that make the most of your petite and chic home. this includes our simply city leaning desk, which has a slimline, ladder-inspired design that utilises vertical space.

what storage comes with a desk?

cables and clutter

cables have a way of undoing even the most considered workspace. a number of our designs include integrated cable management to keep wires neatly out of sight; for designs that favour cleaner lines, a simple under-desk tray or discreet clip works just as well. either way, a calm, uncluttered surface is well within reach.

against a wall or in the open

both approaches work well. against a wall, a desk creates a focused, self-contained workspace. positioned more centrally, it can anchor a home office or act as a quiet divider within an open-plan layout. because our solid wood desks are finished on all sides, there's no "back" to hide if you'd rather not.

how much clearance do I need around it?

enough to pull out your chair comfortably and move around without obstruction. in more compact apartments, the slimline legs common to many of our designs help keep the base visually open, which makes a genuine difference to how spacious a room feels.

what wood options are available?

our desks come in reclaimed teak, FSC™-certified solid teak, European oak, and mahogany, each with its own character.

reclaimed teak is lovingly handcrafted from wood salvaged from century-old Indonesian houses. the warm, weathered surfaces and natural markings mean each piece is genuinely one of a kind. FSC™-certified teak shares that natural durability, with certification confirming it meets rigorous sustainability standards.

European oak brings a lighter, more contemporary feel: solid European white oak has a fine, even texture with creamy tones and subtle golden-brown grains, prized for its strength and natural resistance to wear.

mahogany is a readily available tropical hardwood with a straight grain and deep reddish-brown colour that deepens with age. it's naturally resistant to moisture changes, which makes it particularly well suited to Hong Kong homes. all our mahogany is sustainably sourced.

are custom-made desks available?

custom-made options are available for our reclaimed teak designs, specified to suit your room dimensions, interior style, and storage requirements. our 25,000 sq ft showroom in Horizon Plaza, Ap Lei Chau is the best place to explore the full range and talk through what's possible with our team. once the details are discussed, our team will send over a drawing for your approval before your piece is made.

how do I look after a solid wood desk?

solid wood needs to stay hydrated, and our desks are carefully treated throughout sourcing and production to suit Hong Kong's climate. the majority have oil or water-based protection applied to the surface. for everyday use, a desk mat or coasters for drinks provides the best protection; water ring marks can occur even with a finished surface, so it's worth the habit.

positioning matters too. solid wood is happiest away from direct air conditioning, where the cold, dry air can cause the wood to dry out over time. a consistent spot with stable conditions is all it needs. if your piece is near a window, we recommend using a sheer curtain to regulate the amount of sunlight coming in, as this can also cause your piece to fade with prolonged exposure.
